Bmibaby 'UK's most punctual airline' |
Travellers planning to jet off on their villa holidays with bmibaby this summer will be happy to hear of new research showing that the carrier was the most punctual low-cost airline at the UK's busiest airports in the first quarter of the year.
According to flightontime.info, which used data from the Civil Aviation Authority, bmibaby operated 84 per cent of its flights within 15 minutes of their planned arrival or departure time between January and March.
This placed it ahead of Ryanair, Flybe, Monarch Scheduled and easyJet, which rounded off the top five.
Crawford Rix, managing director of bmibaby, said: "We are delighted to be the UK's most punctual low-cost airline.
"On-time performance is critical to our customers and it is due to the commitment of the bmibaby team that we have been able to achieve such a high rate of punctuality."
