Boat show sails into Majorca |
People staying in Mallorca villas in April will be able to attend a major boat show being held in the island's capital.
The International Boat Show will be held in Palma de Mallorca between April 26th and May 4th this year.
Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to explore the Moll Vell area, which has recently undergone a period of redevelopment that turned it into a major attraction for visitors.
Some 300 boats are set to be involved in the boat show, which will focus on the recreational side of sailing and cover some of the most prominent elements of the sport in Mallorca.
Local sailing enthusiasts as well as overseas visitors are expected to attend the event, which is a major part of Mallorca's cultural and entertainment calendar.
Another event being held on the Balearic Island this year is a jazz festival running from March until December.
This celebration of music will be held in some of the major venues in Palma de Mallorca, including Bellver Castle and the Patio de la Misericordia.
