Celebrate the summer in the Costa Blanca |
Holidaymakers staying in Costa Blanca villas later this month can take advantage of a fun-filled festival which is being held in Alicante.
British tourists are invited to head to the town's summer festival which is expected to once again prove a hit with families.
Held until the 22nd of the month, the celebrations include a programme of music, theatre and dance events which will take place at the Paseo del Puerto alongside the port.
This year, entertainment set to delight the crowd includes performances by jazz legends Kool & the Gang, flamenco dancer Sara Baras and child star Maria Isabel.
As well as being a fabulous party town, Alicante is also well-known for its culinary delights with tasty Mediterranean dishes being the order of the day.
Fresh fish, rice and tapas play a major part in the town's gastronomy as well as spectacular local wines made from grapes of the Monastrell, Vermeta or Garnacha varieties.
