Costa Brava hosts gastronomic tours |
Holidaymakers who like to incorporate an adventure for their palate into trips to foreign countries will be able to enjoy a gastronomic tour in Spain next month.
People staying in Costa Brava villas can attend a number of conferences in the town of Torroella de Montgri between May 30th and June 25th.
This festival will be based on sampling five or six dishes at a number of different restaurants, with all of the meals based around fish.
The eateries that will be participating in the event include Can Dalfo, Picasso, Palau lo Mirador and La Gaviota.
Holidaymakers spending time in Costa Brava villas during the festival can find out more at the Torroella de Montgri tourist office.
Torroella de Montgri is a small town on the north bank of the Ter river, 22km east of Girona and 2km north of the championship golf course Emporda.
One of its most distinctive landmarks is the Montgri castle, which was built between 1294 and 1301 and occupies an impressive location atop a 308-metre-tall massif.
