Enjoy some classical entertainment in Mallorca |
The Spanish island of Mallorca will once again hold the International Classical Music Festival this year.
This event has become an integral part of Mallorca's cultural calendar since being launched way back in 1961.
Music lovers staying in Mallorca villas can enjoy this year's festival, which will be held in the stunning Santo Domingo Cloister in the town of Pollenca, between July 1st and August 30th.
The concerts form part of the European Festival Association and the Mallorca event is seen as an important element of the international classical music circuit.
In recent years the programme has featured a variety of top quality entertainment, ranging from respected orchestras and soloists to choirs and opera singers.
The Santo Domingo Cloister is also known for the excellent acoustics that it provides, an aspect of the venue that has regularly been praised by performers.
