London travellers given more access to Tuscany |
People living in the London area looking at Tuscany villas for a future holiday have been offered enhanced access to the area with new flights from easyJet.
The carrier launched a new service from London Luton airport to Pisa in Tuscany on March 20th, as well as a flight to Jersey.
According to easyJet, 100,000 passengers are expected to use the new route to Italy in its first year.
Pisa is one of the most famous and popular cities in the rural Tuscany region, with a picturesque location near the Arno river and one of the world's most famous landmarks the leaning tower.
David Osborne, UK general manager of easyJet, described the airline's new locations as "popular destinations with something for everyone".
He added: "Pisa boasts not just the legendary leaning tower, but also several other attractions, and is a perfect gateway to the stunning region of Tuscany and the nearby city of Florence."
