Mallorca jazz festival approaches end |
Lovers of jazz music should book their Mallorca villas soon if they want to catch one of the three shows scheduled before the end of the Jazz Voyeur Festival, which is due to come to a close on December 12th.
This festival has been taking place at venues around Mallorca for more than six months, getting underway with a show by Larry Carlton at the Centro Musical Assaig on April 5th.
Highlights of the cultural celebration have included performances by Pee Wee Ellis, Diana Krall and the Portena Jazz Band.
The first of the remaining three concerts in the festival will be a show by father and son jazz duo Bebo and Chucho Valdes, who will play at the Auditorium de Palma on October 25th.
Barbara Hendricks will come to the same venue on October 31st to present her show in tribute to legendary singer Billie Holiday.
The Jazz Voyeur Festival will then be brought to a close by the Mississippi Mass gospel choir. People staying in Mallorca villas will be able to see this performance at the Auditorium de Palma on December 12th.
