Spain still proving popular |
Spain remains one of the most visited countries in the world when it comes to tourism, according to one travel agency for Spain.
Pilar Olivier, CEO of Cielo, said that the most visited resorts in Spain are Benidorm, Barcelona, Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Mallorca and Tenerife and noted that the number of British travellers to the country is on the rise.
She noted that many low cost airlines are also offering more flights from locations in Europe and Americas to Spain as a result of the increase in demand yet added that rival destinations to Spain include Croatia, Tunisia and Bulgaria.
Visitors to Spain can enjoy a plethora of activities and warm climates and beaches to enjoy on a cultural trip to the country.
Costa Brava is just one location to be enjoyed while on a visit to Spain, which is located on the north-eastern region of Catalonia.
Meaning rugged coast, Costa Brava stretches to the French border and its small towns like Cadaques, have attracted artists such as Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso and have become fashionable resorts.
