Tuscany celebrates spring with daffodil festival |
Holidaymakers renting villas in Tuscany have just two weeks to visit the stunning daffodil festival at Villa La Pescigola.
For the third year running, the grand venue is hosting the event which is a must for horticulture enthusiasts and holidaymakers simply wanting to enjoy the beauty of an Italian garden.
Over 120,000 daffodils, including 66 different varieties, are on show at the event which comes to a close on April 13th.
The garden, which is open to the public during the week, is the perfect place to visit with a loved one and features a maze which during the festival is lined with the vibrant flowers.
Visitors on villa holidays to Tuscany are invited to lose themselves among the spring blooms which both smell and look spectacular.
Holidaymakers are also allowed to buy plant bulbs from the Villa La Pescigola as well as organic food stuffs and other farm products.
